About Me
I'm Ella, an integrative psychotherapist offering online therapy for women who feel stuck in unhealthy relationships, overwhelmed by anxiety, or disconnected from themselves. Many of the women I work with have spent so long questioning themselves, putting other people's needs first, or trying to keep the peace that they've lost confidence in their own thoughts, feelings, and decisions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I offer a supportive space where you can slow down, explore what's been happening, better understand yourself, and begin creating lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
My Experience
My work is shaped by both professional training and real-world experience supporting women through some of life's most difficult experiences.
I currently work within a women's domestic abuse service, supporting women affected by emotional abuse, coercive control, trauma, and complex relationship difficulties. This has given me a deep understanding of how unhealthy relationships can affect self-worth, boundaries, anxiety, emotional wellbeing, and the ability to trust yourself.
Alongside this, I've also worked within hospice care, supporting people through grief, loss, and significant life transitions. These experiences continue to shape the compassionate and individualised way I work with every client.
I also bring personal insight into ADHD. Being diagnosed later in life helped me better understand my own experiences and strengthened my passion for supporting women navigating ADHD, emotional overwhelm, self-doubt, and the challenges of feeling different or misunderstood.
My Credentials
I hold a Distinction in my MSc (Level 7) in Counselling & Psychotherapy and am an MBACP registered therapist, currently working towards accreditation.
Alongside my core psychotherapy training, I've undertaken additional professional development in CBT-informed approaches, attachment-focused work, and ADHD coaching, further supporting my work with women experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, and ADHD.
I'm committed to ongoing continuing professional development (CPD) to ensure my practice remains ethical, evidence-informed, and responsive to the evolving needs of the women I support.
